Strength Training – For the mind, body & soul…

The word strength resonates differently amongst individuals. With the physical strength in my muscles and body that develops through strength training, the stronger I feel in my yoga practice, my spirit and through my soul – I feel as though I can conquer the world. The feeling is addictive. The buzz from the endorphins. The energy that is expelled. The energy that is generated. The pride you feel from the growth you have endured. Enchanting.

Affirmation: I am of strong heart and steel body. I am energetic and full of vitality.

As lean muscle increases from training, so does your resting metabolism. You gain strength, muscle tone and definition. You decrease your risk of developing osteoporosis. As you build stronger muscles, you build stronger connective tissues and joint stability – helping in the prevention of injury. Most importantly – you gain confidence and a great attitude.

The connection between mind/soul and body exists within. You just need to be conscious.
You can direct the connection deliberately to benefit from it.

Exercise not only has power over the body, but the spirit as well.
