I like to enjoy this smoothie before a workout. Spirulina is incredibly high in protein and iron, vitamins and nutrients – essential for muscle building and repair, immune boosting and helps remove toxins from the blood. It can also help increase fat burning during exercise.
Always choose a good quality organic spirulina, without additives.
YOU WILL NEED:
mango
banana
handful spinach
1 tspn spirulina
1 & 1/2 cups almond milk (I use fresh homemade)
ice
Place ingredients in a high powered blender and blitz until smooth. Serve in a glass.
