Banana Avo Green Smoothie

I have been listening to my gut. And whilst that advice usually refers to intuition, it also speaks of digestion and immunity. The gut is the core centre of self-worth, happiness, strength, vitality and governs your well-being.

In support of this mighty system, I have a digestion recovery smoothie – vegan, HIGH in protein, and fibre, anti-inflammatory properties – and a great source of heart healthy mono-saturated fats.

This green smoothie is thick, creamy and very fulfilling.


1 frozen banana
1/2 ripe avocado
small handful baby spinach
1 & 1/2 cups nut milk (almond, hazelnut etc)
1 medjool pitted date
1 tsp chia seeds

Pop all of the ingredients in a high powered blender and blitz until smooth.
